Help our family recover from the Eaton Fire

Our little family of 4 has lost everything in the wildfires in Altadena, CA, on January 8th, 2025. We left with a few personal items yesterday afternoon, thinking we were escaping crazy winds and the danger of fallen trees. Today, we tried to drive back and learned that our house, all personal belongings, family heirlooms, art, clothes, furniture, and car were gone. Our house has burned to the ground. Our family consists of Oskar, a freshman in high school, my wife Gudrun (a makeup artist who has lost her full kit), and myself, Kristoffer. We arrived in LA in 2007 and have loved California for close to 18 years. The last 5 years we spent in Altadena, where our son attended middle school and he is a competitive swimmer at Rose Bowl Aquatics. We also have our little dog Bear, a 5 lbs Maltese, who is Oskar's little sister.
We now have to build a new life, and start over again. We lost everything, and every little help will be a great next step in our hopes and dreams for a new future. Thank you for considering helping us in these challenging times. Life is tough, and you have to keep going. We are seeking support to cover unexpected cost and to get back on our feet.
Your contributions will help us through this challenging time and will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.
Your help will allow us to address the many aspects of recovery and support our family through this crisis.
