Rebeccu è un paese antico nel cuore del Mejlogu, in Sardegna.

Poche case, una piazza con un ostello, una chiesa e una canonica, un silenzio bellissimo. Per anni è rimasto quasi vuoto. Oggi sta rinascendo grazie all’arte, alla comunità e a un progetto che unisce ospitalità, cultura e memoria. Questo progetto si chiama Rebeccu Arte.

Dal 2021 ospitiamo artisti, ricercatori, fotografi, registi e studiosi da tutto il mondo. Insieme alla comunità bonorvese stiamo costruendo un laboratorio unico: un luogo dove la creatività non è intrattenimento, ma un modo per ridare vita a un paese che rischiava di scomparire.

Negli anni Rebeccu Arte ha generato opere, mappe sonore, film, racconti, nuovi sguardi sul territorio, momenti di comunità, cura degli spazi e del paesaggio. Il modello che abbiamo sviluppato è quello di un’ospitalità che rispetta la storia del luogo e di un archivio in crescita che custodisce memorie e visioni.

Oggi chiediamo il tuo aiuto perché vogliamo rendere questo processo stabile, accogliente e aperto.

Chi decide di sostenere Rebeccu Arte può usufruire dell’Art Bonus, una misura del Ministero della Cultura che riconosce ai donatori — cittadini e imprese — un credito d’imposta pari al 65% dell’importo donato destinato a progetti culturali e di valorizzazione del patrimonio.

In parole semplici, una parte molto significativa della tua donazione ti viene restituita come detrazione fiscale.

Esempio: se doni 100 euro, puoi recuperarne 65 come credito d’imposta.

Rebeccu is an ancient village in the heart of the Mejlogu region, in Sardinia. A few houses, a small square with a hostel, a church and a rectory, and a beautiful silence. For many years it remained almost empty. Today it is coming back to life thanks to art, community, and a project that brings together hospitality, culture, and memory. This project is called Rebeccu Arte.

Since 2021, we have welcomed artists, researchers, photographers, filmmakers, and scholars from all over the world. Together with the local community of Bonorva, we are building a unique laboratory: a place where creativity is not entertainment, but a way to bring new life to a village that was at risk of disappearing.

Rebeccu Arte is a regenerative project that over the years has generated artworks, sound maps, films, stories, new perspectives on the territory, moments of community, and care for the spaces and landscape. The model we have developed is one of hospitality that respects the history of the place, and an ever-growing archive that preserves memories and visions.

Today we are asking for your support because we want to make this process stable, welcoming, and open.

We want to continue hosting artists and visitors, improve our spaces, support a working group formed within the local community, create a new community kitchen and workshop, and further develop this project that narrates the transformation of the village through the arts.

In addition, donations to Rebeccu Arte are eligible for Italy’s Art Bonus, a national cultural incentive that grants individuals and companies a 65% tax credit on the amount donated to support cultural projects and heritage initiatives.

This means that a significant portion of your donation is returned to you as a tax benefit.
