April 27, 2021 UPDATE:
I am not the same person I was yesterday.  My beautiful wife, Rebecca Helms McKnight , has gone to be with the Lord this afternoon.  She
fought a good fight, but the Lord decided that her full recovery be with him! Thank you all
for the thoughts, prayers and support you have given me, my kids, Anne Helms , Charles, Amy Helms and the entire McKnight/Helms family. 
God's plan is a perfect plan even if we may not understand it. I could go on, but know this was the most loving, kind, supportive,  sweetest
woman ever. I will ALWAYS love you Rebecca
and thank you for being my heartbeat
for 20 years!

Original Story:
Rebecca Helms McKnight is a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Educator.  She entered her battle with Lupus in 2002.  She has endured many surgeries and medical attention to assist her with fighting this horrible disease. 
 On April 7, 2021, Rebecca went in to surgery for a heart Valve repair.  The surgery was a success until Drs noticed something not quite right while she was recovering in the ICU.  Rebecca had surgeons and nurses scammering to get Rebecca regulated.  Rebecca remained in a medically induced coma for her body to heal.  She is currently in a coma- not medically induced.  Please help support her family during this time.
