Allow me a Few Moments to introduce my self, I'm David Rivera and I created this GofundMe because The Bermudez Family Is in Need of Your Love and Support,

Uncle Nelson would took care of me throughout my PRE-K years til I was old enough to watch after myself.

I `d go to His Home after school, I'd stayed the whole summer over His Home Creating Memories to last an eternity, those memories that we wish we could revisit.

Moving Forward at 35 it breaks my heart to hear such news.

Nelson Bermudez has 2 Daughters, 6 grandchildren , 4 brothers and 1 sister. He would tell me " David your the son I never had" so we were close and Uncle Nelson would tell me as soon as I walked into His home "Why are you here? Go home" and I would laugh cause I knew it was his way of Saying Im happy to see you.

As a kid MISCHIEF was my middle name: but those days created a more lovingly and comical relationship With Nelson Bermudez, Anyone who knows Uncle Nelson knows this Was a Favorite phrase of his "David go home, go home. go home."

For years, my uncle — my Godfather, my mentor, my friend — has been quietly fighting a battle against serious illness. Through every hospital visit, every procedure, and every sleepless night, he’s held on with a strength that inspires everyone who knows him.

Now, his fight has reached a critical point. He is on life support. Every moment is precious, and every resource matters in this battle for his life. Our family is doing everything we can, but the emotional and financial burden has grown far beyond what we can manage alone.

My uncle has always been the first to help others — whether it was lending a hand, offering guidance, or simply showing up when someone needed him most. Today, we’re asking for that same kindness to be shown back to him.

We All have faced some type of Challenge or have had received the worst possible news , and for The Bermudez Family and extended Relatives gettin a call informing that call is completely heart breaking but in the midst of the conversation the only words you can remember is “He’s on critical life support”.

Our family is doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone.
