Re-Up 24! Rebuild and Restore the GRC Store
Tax deductible
We need your support right now. The Rebuild-It center has been a Hood River institution for 20 years and now we are growing it to build something next level.
We're just finishing with phase one of our facility improvements. And now looking at Phase two.
We are asking for your financial support in our Store upgrade so that we can accept more items and make them better available for sale at affordable prices to our community. This helps avoid products going to landfill. We are raising $24,000 for store improvements and need your help.
This is what we are raising money for
- 6 Foot fence and Gates – To stop unwanted dumping of afterhours garbage "donations", and prevent inventory theft
- Carts and pallet Jacks – For our staff to safely manage inventory in an orderly fashion
- Installation of video cameras – For safety, security and accountability
- Moving of Containers with Crane – We love our shipping containers and have a plan to rearrange and better utilize these structures, but we need help moving them
- Slab at intake area – For safely rolling merchandice on dollies and carts into the store, keeping things out of the dirt and reducing trip hazards
As a 501(c3) non-profit we are dedicated to three goals. Keeping good products out of the landfill and providing gorge residence with low cost building materials and items and our third mission is helping making sustainable choices fun and inspiring.
By supporting us in this fundraising campaign you are enabling us to support the community to reduce what gets sent to the landfill, reuse the existing manufactured items that have already been created and build a reuse culture.
