My name is Alysha and this GoFundMe is to help my best friend Jenna and her daughters. ❤️
Over the weekend, Jenna’s youngest daughter, Rayna (22 months old), was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center after an attack from their family dog that nearly ended her life.
Their predicted stay is going to be at least a week or longer.
As Jenna is a single mother and her job is their only source of income, I am starting this GoFundMe to help their family with the following things:
- Any medical bills that may not be covered by insurance, especially since Rayna will be having extensive surgery and treatment
- Food/supplies for Jenna while she stays in the hospital with Rayna
- Gas/tolls for travel during and after Rayna’s stay, for Jenna to get to work and also continued care with doctors
- Any bills for their home and other things that Jenna may need help with because of the time she is missing at work
Jenna doesn’t expect financial help, but we know she is going to need it at some point in the future. Anything that anyone can do to support her financially during this time means the world to their family.
As mentioned before, we do not yet know the extent of Rayna’s stay in the hospital, but in today’s world - even a week or two is a lot of missed time and Rayna is going to have a long road to a full recovery.
