Ray has ALS (all help goes direct to his family)

UPDATE!!! Ray's Diagnosis of ALS was made April 30, 2021.
Doctor's initially hoped Ray had chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). They said if it wasn't CIPD then most likely Ray had ALS. The plasma treatment failed and attacked Ray's blood sending him to the hospital for a week. They used a dialysis type treatment to remove the first plasma infusion from Ray's blood and did a new infusion treatment. The second plasma treatment failed and neurologist confirmed ALS on 4-30-2021.
ALS. Three powerful letters that, upon hearing, changed Ray’s life instantly. You may have heard it called Lou Gehrig’s disease, most know that Stephen Hawkings had ALS. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a fatal motor neuron disease that targets nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain. ALS affects control of the muscles needed to move, speak, eat and breathe.
In the late stages of ALS, a person’s muscles become paralyzed, and they may lose the ability to move and speak. Many people with ALS require a wheelchair to move around. Some may communicate through assistive technology devices.
The funds will go directly to Ray and Tina for use to pay for Ray's medical bills and help support them while they are without any income. Ray is the sole income for his family and Tina is a strong and dedicated wife and mother. She and Ray both need our help to try to keep them from losing their house, etc. Ray's former employer has already graciously extended medical insurance coverage until August/September.
Please pray for Ray to recover from this devastating illness. Please pray for Tina to remain strong. Please pray that funds are received in time to help Ray, every day is worse for him, he has lost all ability to physically do anything for himself.
ALS is not experienced in the same way, and the disease progression varies greatly among all those diagnosed. Most people live 3-5 years after their first signs of disease. Currently, there is no cure for ALS. Time is crucial to this plea for help. Thank you for helping Ray and Tina, they are the salt of the earth, please pray for them both. Any help you can send is greatly appreciated by them.
