As most of you know, Ray had a bicycle accident in early October and suffered a significant brain bleed. One week after the accident, his body unexpectedly developed complete paralysis. At UCSF he was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome, a rare condition that causes a person's immune system to attack the nervous system.
After three months in four different medical facilities, Ray finally made it home on January 8th! But he still has at least a year of treatment in order to once again walk independently and recover full use of his muscles. Insurance will only cover a small portion of the therapy required. We are hoping you can help Ray and Meg on their journey by contributing to Ray's wellness fund. Any money received will go directly to paying for Ray's medical bills.
Please forward this message to anyone you think would be willing to help Ray and Meg.
Thank you, and welcome home Ray!
