Hi My name is Rashed. Many of you may know me and many of you may not. Since the age of 23 I have battled Lupus, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Chrons Disease, Rheumatoid Arthiritis and many of the symptoms that come along with those. While ive always kept a smile and remained upbeat it has been an uphill struggle. In late 2012 i was diagnosed with Cancer, a (Glioblastoma) tumor was discovered in my brain after a major car accident. Since then i have endured intense rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy and even massive vitamin regimins. I have even undergone experimental treatments. Yet to no avail. Recently i was diagnosed with Heart Failure. While many of you may know me as the well dressed and put together person i have a daily struggle that nobody knows or sees behind the scenes. All of this has nearly bankrupted me. Daily I have to decide whether i can eat, pay for medicince or make a payment to a doctor to ensure I will be seen next month. Ive spent over $7,000 just for my prescriptions out of pocket since January. I take close to 17 pills a day and see almost as many doctors. In order to continue treatment and afford my medications i am forced to ask for help, I simply can no longer survive on my own. So now although it is very difficult for me to do i must reach out and ask for help from friends, family and even strangers. While asking for help is very difficult for me I understand that now it is imperative to no longer fight this batle alone. So I ask that if you can find the compassion and kindness in your hearts whatever you decide to share I thank you for in advance.
