I know that everyone is struggling mentally, physically, financially, etc. but if anyone can help fund my top surgery, I’d be forever grateful. (I’m going to list a few ways to support me for free at the end of this, I know this is lengthy but please read at least the ending if you’re able to spare your time to help)

I just turned thirty. I don’t want to live like this anymore. And with trans rights being targeted everyday I worry that if I don’t get it done soon, I might lose my chance. I just had my consultation and they quoted me 23k. Way more than I expected but apparently I have a body that is different than surgeons usually have to work on. Which sucks even more. My insurance changed this year and I’ve called them with all the codes in hand and they told me that they almost never cover top surgery because they see it as “too experimental”. :( and even if they cover it, I still have to pay around 10k + expenses of being off work, someone to watch our kids while my husband and I are out of town, and the money to have a place to sleep while out of town.

I haven’t scheduled it yet but I’m hoping I could have it this year. But I obviously don’t have 23k just lying around. And in the last couple years have been so financially bad with my husband losing his job over a year ago and not getting a new one for over 6 months (lost our house, had to sell our car, lost all our savings, gained a lot of debt). We’ve had medical bills over 10k for the last three years (my kids have had random emergencies and now my husband is going through chronic pain that has put him in the ER and has been going through lots of tests. He even has a spinal tap in March that may cost us 3-5k. Starting the year off great)

I just need help. I’m going to try and sell more art this year but I almost never have time because my husband and I work full time and I always feel as if we’re playing catch up on chores and trying not to waste our kids childhood away. I’m also going to try and create more content online. I am monetized on YouTube and Twitch. That’s where you can help me for free!
