After a sold-out world premiere at The Rat NYC last year, Rascals returns this July at The Tank!
Rascals is a riotous comedy about two raccoon besties living in a Brooklyn dump who just want to catch the sunset by the river. Instead, they accidentally tumble into a trash-fueled version of King Lear, full of drama, danger, and a surprising amount of slapstick.
Audiences loved the chaos so much they begged us to bring it back. We’ve kept the good stuff, tossed what didn’t land, and brought back some fan favorites to stir up more trouble on stage.
Now we need your help to take this trash heap to the next level. Theater costs real money. We need funds for space, costumes, props, tech, transportation, and the many behind-the-scenes essentials that keep a show running. Most importantly, we want to pay our artists. The people working on this production are incredibly talented and are giving their time, energy, and creativity to make something special. We believe they deserve to be compensated with care and respect.
