He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and opened Domiabra Vegetarian Palace, an authentic caribbean vegan restaurant.
Despite Ras' best effortsto lead a healthy lifestyle he was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. According to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, prostate cancer is 1.6 times more common and 2-4 times more deadly among African-American men than Caucasian men. Prostate cancer is an epidemic- it kills every 16 minutes. After his diagnosis, Ras Lumumba embarked on a natural andconventional treatment plan to fight the disease. The treatment is costly is not covered by insurance since it is not a regimen in the pharmaceutical industry.
