Ramadan Food Distribution in Afghanistan

Tax deductible
Dear Supporters,

During the blessed month of Ramadan, our hearts are heavy with the realization that many families in Afghanistan are struggling to feed themselves and keep warm this season. The Children of War (TCOW) and Homaira Rahman Foundation are joining hands to alleviate this burden by providing hot meals and food packages to the needy across Afghanistan.

Your donations will directly reach the people of Afghanistan and provide them with either an iftar meal or food package during the month of Ramadan:
Iftar meals: Cost of each meal is $3:
• Rice
• Meat and veggie qorma
• French fries
• Bread (naan)
• Water
• Dates
Food packages containing staple items:
Package A = $40:
• Rice 10kg
• Flour 25kg
• Oil 5 liters
• Sugar,7kg
• Tea 1kg
Package B = $70:
• Rice 24.5kg
• Flour 50kg
• Oil 5 liters
• Sugar 7kg
• Tea 1kg

These packages are tailored to meet the basic dietary needs of families and range in price from approximately $40 to $70, depending on the size of items and location. Your contribution will help us ensure that these essentials reach the most vulnerable communities, providing them with the means to observe Ramadan with dignity and nourishment.

Your generosity will make a tangible difference in the lives of many impoverished families and communities during these challenging times. Together, we can spread hope and compassion, embodying the true spirit of Ramadan.

Thank you for standing with us as we strive to make a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan.
