Help us create a Support and Wellbeing Space
Donation protected
Rama Life is a not-for-profit education centre in Somerset, UK. We run all year round, providing youth groups, holiday clubs, family groups - all educational and all with the grounding in self-esteem and development.
We design all of our groups to be neuro-inclusive - meaning we meet more needs than mainstream provisions.
To support our work and more young people we need a "support and wellbeing" space (so we can undertake small group work and support meetings) and an office on site.
Opportunity knocked in March 2025, when Sharon from "Organic Rhythm" put her "Yellow Bird" American School bus up for sale. This important and iconic part of her life had spent three years bringing joy to children and adults alike through drumming workshops and now needed a new home.
Through a process of discussion and problem solving, we have raised £10,000 towards the purchase cost of the bus - but we need your help to find the final £12,000 (and some extra for making some accessibility adaptations).
This sounds a like a big job - but we will be approaching funders in a hope to secure a portion of the remaining balance.
We would also love to hear from any businesses or individuals we would like to hear about corporate sponsorship.
It would only take all of our social media followers to donate £5, for us to reach our goal - so if you can help, by donating whatever you can, we would be so thankful.
The biggest gift we have been given so far is Sharon's generosity as she has agreed with us that the bus can be on site and start to work its magic (which it already has), whilst we raise the funds.
From everyone at Rama Life,
Thank You
