Rally for Lisbet's Cancer Journey

This fundraiser is for Lisbet and Mike Hasler, a couple that would do anything for anyone—the kind of people who show up, lend a hand, and open their hearts without ever asking for anything in return.

Now, it's our turn to show up for them. Our beloved friend, Lisbet, has been diagnosed with not one, but three different cancers. She is facing the biggest fight of her life. Between hospital visits, chemotherapy, travel, time off work, and overwhelming medical bills, the financial burden is growing fast. To top it off, her disability claim has hit a major snag—someone has been using her identity and collecting benefits for the past nine years!

Lisbet has done so much for our community, whether it was working with Dream Foundation helping the terminally ill realize their dreams, and co-founding Green Art People, a magical place in Ventura, Calif., that brought so much happiness to our community and some of the finest music. Lisbet has earned her place a certified SLPA; providing speech therapy to students with a range of abilities. It’s this work that she refers to as the greatest honor of her life.
