Rally For Riley Marks

Riley Marks is a 7 year old boy, he's been fighting a rare metabolic disease (ALD) for most of his young life. After leaving the children's hospital over a year ago and undergoing 2 rounds of chemotherapy, all were hopeful. He has been home fighting to recover from the brain damage caused by the disease and the toll that the chemo took on his body.
Sadly, although he's fought like a little ninja, the disease has unfortunately progressed and is spreading. Recently his parents were given the news that Riley may only have months to live. He isn't responding as much as he used to, he used to be able to give his parents smiles and thumbs up letting them know he's there and fighting, but he's not able to give them those signs any longer.
Riley's dad Steve is his full time caretaker, and his hero after successfully donating his own bone marrow during their yearlong stay at the Children's Hospital of Minnesota. His mother Shawna, supports the family and has the backup of a caring employer that allows her juggle work and doctor appointments. She is an amazing mother who puts her family first always. Riley's big brother Trevor is his best friend and they enjoy time home with their family, and playing with their dog Max.
We are hoping to raise money so that the family can spend as much quality time comforting Riley and each other as much as possible without extra worries.
