Recently, I got the horrible and disheartening news that the wife of my best friend was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We've all had those friends that become family. Over the last few years, Salwa has become like a sister to me, so you can understand how difficult this news was to hear. Salwa is a great woman, who is one of the most honest and compassionate people I have ever met. She is a fantastic wife to Keith. She is a wonderful mother to two amazing little girls, whose smiles alone could brighten up the darkest of days. I can't even begin to imagine how this news has effected the family. When the news was received, the best move for a cure was to relocate to Nevada. The cost of the piling medical bills, inability to work and Keith missing so much work to be there for her is going to be a huge stress and burden on them.  The stress about being able to cover life essentials and providing for their two daughters is not something anyone should have to worry about while also dealing with the mental and physical strain this news surely brings. I listed a goal, but any little bit towards that goal helps greatly. Whether that be $1.00 or $.50, I know that those two little girls who love their mother more than anything, will greatly appreciate. I know Salwa and Keith, who are two of the strongest people I know, will greatly appreciate it. And I will greatly appreciate it. If I had the financial capital to cover all of their expenses and bills, I would with no hesitation. Unfortunately, I am not in that position. Please help me in helping a wonderful  and caring mother, wife, sister, and friend; to help her rally against breast cancer, so she can continue to be the positive force in this world she has been.
