Rally for Lexi. A Single Mom Faces Second Cancer Diagnosis
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is dedicated to supporting our beloved sister and friend, who has faced countless challenges yet continues to meet each one with grace and hope.
Lexi is a single mother who thinks about her son first and foremost.

As a result, she chose to live near her son’s high school after their previous building was sold last year. Although clean and safe, their current living arrangements are less than ideal. But that in and of itself is not why this page was started.
In 2021, Lexi was diagnosed with breast cancer, and there was an indication she was at high risk for further cancer. She immediately had surgery and took medication to attempt to get rid of the cancer. In addition, she decided to take precautionary measures and have additional surgeries to reduce her future risks. Recovering from these surgeries, including emergency procedures, has been challenging, leaving her with residual nerve damage that has impacted the use of her hands and caused ongoing, persistent pain.
In January 2025, she had a biopsy of a suspicious lymph node. The doctor punctured her lung during the procedure, and she spent a long week in the hospital. Sadly, the biopsy indicated that the precautionary measures she had taken were unsuccessful. She found out that not only had she had a recurrence, but the cancer was now in her lymph nodes and triple negative, the most aggressive type of breast cancer.
She has recently begun an intensive and potentially debilitating treatment in hopes of fully overcoming the cancer this time.
Unfortunately, she is unable to work, and she and her son do not live in the most stable conditions. She needs to stay close to where she is so her son can finish his senior year of high school. She is hoping she can be there to see him get his diploma and beyond. But she needs help. People have been wonderful and have given so much, but she needs more assistance to see her through this seemingly impossible time.

In Lexi’s words:
“Your help will bring hope!
Your help will allow for healing.
Your help will keep a roof over my and my son's head.
Please, give what you can. Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read a smidge of my story, and for helping.
Peace to your house!”
