 At Rahma Charity, we believe that compassion, community, and faith can change lives. Across The Gambia, countless children, families, and vulnerable individuals face unimaginable hardship every single day. For many, access to basic necessities such as food, education, healthcare, clothing, and safe living conditions remains a daily struggle. Vulnerability continues to affect communities deeply, leaving many without the support they need to thrive. Rahma Charity was established with one mission: to serve those in need and provide help where it is needed most.

 Our work reaches some of the most underserved communities across The Gambia, supporting vulnerable children, orphans, struggling families, and individuals facing hardship. While one of our key areas of focus is supporting Daras, traditional Islamic schools where many underprivileged children receive Quranic education, guidance, and care; our mission extends far beyond this.

 We respond to the changing needs of communities throughout the year. Whether it is feeding families during difficult times, supporting vulnerable households during Ramadan and Eid, contributing to Islamic educational programmes and conferences, assisting struggling communities with essential supplies, or helping provide relief during times of hardship, our aim is always the same: to ease burdens and uplift lives.

 No two communities face the exact same challenges, which is why our work is driven by need. Some families need food. Some children need educational support. Some communities need urgent assistance during difficult periods. Others need access to opportunities that can help build a brighter future. Wherever possible, Rahma Charity steps in to help.
