Your prayers and contributions to Rafi's journey have provided him and his family with a great amount of faith, hope, and perseverance. Thanks to your generosity, Rafi has been able to receive treatment and care from world renowned doctors. 

Unfortunately, Rafi has currently entered a critical phase in his journey and your support is more important NOW than ever. Severe inflammation in his brain is causing Rafi to suffer from debilitating seizures. Although the treatment of his lungs has been effective, further care is necessary to reduce the lesions and pressure on his brain. Needless to say, this illness has put a great amount of emotional and financial strain on his family; However, Rafi's optimism, courage, and relentless will to LIVE is the inspiration for this Fund. 

Rafi has described this experience as a chapter in his transformation. Throughout his battle, Rafi has gained a newfound sense of understanding and purpose. This experience has expanded his awareness and desire to not only beat this disease, but help others do the same. Rafi hopes to someday form a foundation that will provide cancer patients with resources, guidance, encouragement, and relief. About This Fund:

Raphael Moas was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer non-small cell Adenocarcinoma on his 31st birthday in August of 2015. His cancer spread so rapidly that he now has 22 lesions in his brain. One of the lesions is located on his brain stem, which makes the cancer even more difficult to treat. Rafi has since received full brain radiation along with chemotherapy and lung radiation.
