From Miami to the Caribbean - Birthday Princess magic ahead ✨

This year, I’m celebrating my birthday in a BIG way—by going on my VERY FIRST cruise! I’ll be sailing with Virgin Voyages on a 9-day, 8-night adventure through the Caribbean. ☀️

✈️With flights and a night in a hotel in Miami, I'll be gone for 10 days!

Once I’m on the ship, although it is all-inclusive, sadly the spa services are not included. The treatments aren’t cheap, but it’s my birthday! And this year… I’m a Princess! I absolutely cannot wait—and this break is so long overdue! ‍✨

I’ve ALWAYS dreamed of going on a cruise, and this year I finally get to check it off my bucket list. I haven’t gotten to leisure travel in years, so this trip means the world to me. I can’t even tell you how excited I am…the countdown is ON! ❤️‍‍

Things I still need to check off my travel list:

⬜ Uber/Cab Fund ($500) - I have to get to the hotel from the airport, rides for anything I need to go the night before boarding, the next morning to GET to my port entrance. I have 3 port days; if I go anywhere, I'll need a cab or maybe rent something for a few hours!

⬜ Spa Pampering Fund ($1500)‍ – This is for day passes, massages, manicure/pedicures, thermal suite passes, etc. The cruise spa has a place called "The Braid Bar" and I DEFINITELY want to do that a few times. They also have "Glam Stations" before the "Big" parties.

......And getting my hair/nails/body done while overlooking the ocean is definitely something I'll look back and remember how AMAZING it was for the rest of my life!! And because who doesn’t want to be extra spoiled for their birthday?! ‍✨

⬜ Find a bathing suit! (Yes, I still haven’t ordered one)

⬜ Upgrade to Premium WiFi on the ship ($220) so I can ✨livestream✨, post clear videos and photos, take video calls, and share my adventures!

⬜ Purchase a Bar/Drinks Tab ($300 + bonus $50 for pre-booking!) – I chose a "lower" priced one because this isn’t just for alcohol; it’s for any specialty drinks on the ship: hot or iced lattes, mochas, tea lattes, etc. at the coffee shop, smoothies, milkshakes, fresh-pressed juices—pretty much anything that isn’t a “basic” drink. Over 9 days, I know I’ll want to enjoy some of these treats (and hey, it’s my BIRTHDAY CRUISE, so I expect a few free drinks too! ).
