Rachel's Helicopter Flight Training

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am 23 years old and just an ordinary girl, trying to do something extraordinary with my life. I am a U.S. civilian, currently holding a Private Helicopter Pilot rating (soon to be Instrument rated) and working towards a Commercial rating. Aviation is a passion of mine and I hope to utilize my flight training by serving the greater good, once I have enough experience under my belt. 

However, flight training is not an inexpensive endeavor. Plus, it takes hundreds and thousands of flight hours to become a Pilot In Command of a turbine helicopter. I am creating this GoFundMe so that I can achieve this dream and ultimately use the funds to help others and make a difference in the world. Aside from that, I hope to inspire other young women to take part in the aviation community and advance the female role in such a male-dominated field. 

I have over 100 flight hours in Robinson helicopters and hope to finish up my training by the end of 2016. Once I get my Commercial license, I will no longer need funds to build up the rest of my time. Achieving these FAA ratings and pursuing a career that I love means the world to me. I am dedicating my entire life to this undertaking and, with your help, will achieve the impossible. The donations WILL be put to good use and my family and I will be forever grateful to whoever contributes.
