Over the past 3 months, our fun-loving, witty friend, Rachel, has been enduring a nagging, persistent cough.  In the process of trying to get rid of it, this symptom took a very dark and scary turn, resulting in a diagnosis of Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  To say this is an awful, shocking, punch-in-the-gut situation is a huge understatement.  

While we know Rachel is a strong fighter and her prognosis is excellent, her road to recovery includes a grueling course of chemo and radiation therapy over the next 6 months.  

To assist Rachel and her family in the best way possible during this unexpected and difficult time, we are reaching out for donations to help her with COBRA coverage (she currently carries the insurance for her husband Chris and 2 beautiful daughters, Maddie and Allie - ages 4 and 2), medical bills/copayments, and any other unanticipated expenses (wigs are expensive!).  If you are a PIH Health employee, PTO donations will also be immensely supportive.
