5/24: Yay! New goal reached! Thank you so much, my Reddit family, and thank you all who donated. Second billboard is around the corner. It’s the same billboard design, and I will be posting updates here and on Reddit, for the exact coordinates and location.

Our collaboration and hard work is paying off! My department personally has pushed back the RTO date. Let’s go one step further and eliminate RTO altogether! Why do we need to go into an office?! It’s ridiculous.

I’ve been reading so many of your personal stories and it truly breaks my heart how much this EO is going to upend our lives and cost us even more money. On top of that, Trumpi’s “Big Beautiful Bill” may very well pass in the Senate, which guarantees the greatest transfer of wealth from the middle-class to the richest 1% in the HISTORY of the U.S.

The streets are cluttered with garbage, our freeways are a hot mess, homelessness permeates throughout our city, we’re all one paycheck or one major illness away from being homeless. But yes—let’s give more money to the rich, because that trickle down economics has really proven it works.

So while Trumpi’s team is siphoning wealth upward through tax cuts, Gavin’s ensuring workers stay leashed to their desks to prop up commercial real estate tycoons. It’s like two sides of the same gold-plated coin.

Trumpi’s “Big Beautiful Bill” is a love letter to billionaires.

Newsom’s RTO is a footnote that says, “P.S. The working class will show up on-site to help fund it.”

Same exploitation, different flavor.

Want to fight back? Support the billboards. Expose the rot.

And let’s remind them that we see through the show—and we’re not buying front row tickets.

Thank you all so much for your support! With Newsom’s May Revision proposing pay cuts, it’s time to hit back where it hurts—loudly and publicly. Who does he think he is?! This fight isn’t over.

I’m working to license some of Newsom’s most absurd photos (no more AI). Found a few gems that are deliciously cringe. Fingers crossed for approval!

4/28: Majority of Reddit users want the billboard advertised on 5/12. I let the company know that’s the date. Can’t wait to see it!

4/25: Update! Got three tentative dates for when the billboard will be posted:

All three locations are along I-80. I’ll get the exact coordinates and put up a poll on Reddit so we can all agree on a date and place. Thank you!

4/24: Billboard design was officially approved by the company!

And per some of your suggestions, I decided to change the goal to $20,000. We can most definitely rent a second billboard space or explore other options to get our message across. Let me know!

4/22: We got a mention in the Sac Bee! Also, I’ve been receiving messages and ideas on what to do with the extra cash. We can opt to advertise the billboard longer or put up another billboard in a high visibility area? What do you think?

4/21: What a crazy week! We’re almost to $15,000! Now The Sacramento Bee has even reached out to me. I’ve gotten so many wonderful samples for the billboard designs by talented artists. I’ll be posting some up on Reddit this week. I want to keep the original message the same, since all of you donated to that original cause. Getting closer! Thank you all so much!

4/19 Update 2: KCRA News has reached out to me! I let them know where the billboard will be set up and when I get an official date they can be there to cover it.

4/19 Update: Holy crap — we did it! Should we still keep going and add a second billboard? THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Will provide further updates as we go along! This is truly amazing. Let’s continue to shame these politicians.

Help Us Fund an Anti-RTO Billboard in Sacramento Before July 1st - Fight Newsom’s Pollution!

The Return-to-Office (RTO) mandate is forcing thousands of California workers back into traffic, pollution, and longer days, for no measurable gain in productivity or service.

Meanwhile, our unions, our leaders, and our elected representatives are silent.

They’re not standing up for us.

So it’s time we take a STAND.

We’re organizing a bold, visible response: a billboard in a high-traffic Sacramento area calling out the damage caused by this mandate and the complete disregard for working people’s well-being.

We need $9,800 to cover:

• Billboard production

• Leasing for one month

• Installation and management fees

This is totally achievable.

If just 900 of us donate $10, we make it happen.

I’m TIRED of not having our unions and leadership back us up!!!! Let’s make it loud and clear what Newsom is doing to help put money back into the pockets of rich real estate tycoons.
