Reno Restaurant Week: Veterans Guest House
The Veterans Guest House is one of the three 2019-2020 Hungry Gives Back charities. 100% of the net income from Reno Restaurant Week will be split between these three charities; however, I wanted to give our community the chance to donate as well.
Veterans Guest House : The Veterans Guest House is a local Reno nonprofit organization which provides United States Military service veterans and their families temporary overnight accommodations while they are receiving treatment at a medical facility in the Reno/Sparks area.
Typically, their guests reside at least 35 miles away, are independent and able to care for themselves or have a caregiver.
They offer all the comforts of home with semi-private bedrooms and baths, a continental breakfast, kitchen facilities where guests can make their own meals, a living and media room.
