After 42 years of unwavering dedication, friendship, and service, we are honored to celebrate the retirement of Mr. Roque Richards — a truly beloved and irreplaceable member of our Century Park East community.

Roque began his journey with us in 1984 as a Security Guard. Through the years, he faithfully served in many roles — Doorman with Valet, PBX/North Tower Receptionist, and even helping in the Management Office — before becoming our Houseman, a position he has held with pride and consistency for over 30 years.

For more than four decades, Roque has been a constant presence in our daily lives. He has sorted and organized countless packages, ensured deliveries, assisted residents with care and patience, and quietly handled the behind-the-scenes work in the Houseman's Office that keeps our community running smoothly.

But beyond the duties listed in a job description, Roque has been something much more. He has been a reassuring smile in the hallways and elevators, a steady hand during busy holidays, a trusted helper to generations of residents, and a familiar face who made Century Park East feel like home.

His final workday will be Friday, April 3rd, 2026 — the closing of an extraordinary 42-year chapter of service.

As Roque steps into retirement, he plans to split his time between his home in Inglewood and his beloved homeland of Belize. There, he looks forward to building his home from the ground up and spending cherished time with his wife, children, and grandchildren — creating new memories in a place close to his heart.

Now it is our turn to show up for him.

Our goal is to support him as he builds his new home in Belize — a dream he has worked toward for many years.
