It's been two years since I had the honour of travelling to South Africa to represent England in the 2014 Indoor World Championships.  



As you can imagine the pride I felt representing my Country was undescirable, so to have the opportunity to do it again is something I feel truly blessed to be able to do.  Two years on I have had the honour of being named in the Womens squad for this World Championships out in New Zealand this August. 

Last time we competed we were able to secure a silver medal, playing against the netball capitals of the world such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. After such success, this year with a stronger team and an even stronger ambition, we are now striving for the gold, and to be the best in the world. 



Obviously going to New Zealand will be extra special exerience for me because of my roots and so going back to Kiwi land is just an added bonus, and will make this experience (and hopefully winning trip) even more sweet. 

Netball, let alone Indoor, is not a professional sport (yes people, netball in England is STILL not professional - say what?!) so we are having to self fund our trip. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, and one that I really hope not to miss out on, therefore I am asking (or begging) for any support, little or large, that you can give and I promise I will work my socks off, along with the rest of the team to bring the gold medal and world championship title to England.
