RISE Collective to ensure abortion access in Boulder, CO

Donation protected
On April 18, 2025, the Boulder Abortion Clinic closed its doors after 50 years of providing care in Colorado to people across the country and around the world.

Now, 30 days later, the remaining employees - physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, patient navigators, laboratory staff, and administrative personnel - have formed RISE Collective to ensure that the care for which they are uniquely trained is maintained.

With an average staff member tenure of 17 years, RISE Collective intends to quickly fill the gap created unexpectedly, causing more pressure on an already overtaxed field of healthcare. Organizations and community members are supporting this new group, but they need YOUR help. While the most valuable piece of any company is in place - the staff - a building to serve abortion seekers is needed immediately. Contact RISE Collective directly for a tax-deductible donation, but if that doesn't feel safe due to non-profit tracking, donate HERE and NOW!

More on RISE Collective’s Core Values and Mission:

Mission Statement
The RISE Collective’s mission is to provide the highest standard of later abortion care and is grounded in the tenets of compassionate empowerment, sustainable access, and equity. We work to ensure that every person has access to safe reproductive and gender-affirming healthcare with a humanized experience and respectful support.

Vision Statement
We envision a world where all people have the freedom and resources to make decisions about their bodies and futures—without barriers, stigma, or fear. Through patient-centered and trauma-informed care, continuous learning, and a commitment to justice, we strive to build a future where reproductive healthcare is accessible, sustainable, and built on respect.

Core Values
Compassionate Empowerment
We provide care that is rooted in empathy, trust, and deep respect for each individual’s dignity and autonomy. We support people in making informed decisions about their reproductive health by creating a healing, nonjudgmental environment where every voice is heard and every experience is honored. Compassionate empowerment means combining emotional support with honest information and unwavering belief in our patients’ right to choose.

Equity
We are committed to breaking down systemic barriers to reproductive healthcare and ensuring equitable access for all—regardless of race, gender identity, income, immigration status, ability, or background. Equity informs every aspect of our work, from clinical care to community advocacy to the lived experiences of our staff members.
Sustainable Access
We perform safe, high-quality abortion care utilizing practices that are reliable today with an eye to evolution in future medical praxis. This commitment includes valuing ongoing training, adherence to evidence-based practices, the collaborative use of data to continuously improve outcomes, and providing clear leadership that creates a safe space for team member contributions and growth. Through clinical excellence and operational integrity, we protect and expand access to care in our communities, across the country, and around the world.
