Pepper's Hospital Fund from Dog Attack - RIP

Last week, my sweet, kind fur nephew Pepper (my brother Diego's fur son) was attacked by an unleashed vicious dog while they were out for a walk. Pepper, as always, was leashed. The dog came running towards Pepper out of nowhere and sunk his teeth into Pepper's neck/shoulder, wounding him very badly.  

Diego tried to get him off with great force, and the dog wouldn't loosen his bite. So he had to stick his hand inside the dog's jaws to pry it open. Thank goodness he was able to eventually get him off, and that Diego's hand is okay.

Pepper has been in the hospital and needs our help. He had surgery yesterday to repair his wound, has been suffering significant blood loss, infection, clotting, and necrosis (you can google image search this, but I wouldn't). Today we were told he has sepsis, a potentially life-threatening infection, and needs blood and plasma transfusion. 

We ask first and foremost for your prayers and good vibes sent to our boy. If you're able to contribute (even just a tad) to his mounting medical bills fund, our family would be so appreciative. We will keep you posted on his progress.

Pepper is truly the most loving, chill, gentle, snuggly pup who is very much part of our family and we are really upset he's hurt. I know what it's like to have your baby in the hospital, so we ask to keep Diego in your thoughts as well.
