Culver City High School Mural

Hi, my name is Randall Santiago. I am a senior at Culver City High School. I am 18 years old and I come from Oaxacan, Mexican parents. I am the oldest out of 2. I will be attending Cal State Long Beach next year.
I am putting up a mural at Culver City High. The mural encompases the beauty of street art, storytelling and history. The magnitude of having this mural at our High School is to show inclusivity, and promote students to embrace their culture and heritage. I am working with a Culver High Alumni and local artist, ZerMillion.
However the mural’s budget is $6,000.
I am fundraising and looking for sponsors to help my vision come through. I want to leave a mural for the community and for the generations of students yet to walk the halls of Culver City High.
The essence of this mural can be summarized by Maya Angelou's quote,
"If you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going"

Hola, Mi nombre es Randall Santiago. Estoy en el último año de la preparatoria. Estoy asistiendo a Culver City High School. Tengo 18 años y tengo un hermanito de 10 años. Vengo de paredes oaxaqueños. Y soy orgullosamente Mexicano Americano. Iré a Cal State Long Beach para seguir mis estudios en ciencias política.
Voy a poner un mural en mi preparatoria de Culver City High School. El mural trae elementos del arte de la calle, el aprendizaje de un libro, y la cultura mixta del Los Angeles. La importancia de tener este mural en mi preparatoria es esencial. Con este mural yo quiero motivar a los estudiantes y la comunidad a que sean orgullosos de sus raíces, cultura, y su gente.
Desafortundamente el mural saldrá costando $6,000. Estoy trabajando con un artista local @ruthlesscreationz para poner este mural en mi escuela. Estoy buscado ayuda de la comunidad para ayudar pagar los gasto. Estoy muy agradecido hacia todos ustedes que me apoyan.
La esencia de este mural puede ser resumido a las palabras de Lopez Obrador (AMLO).
"Si no sabes de donde vienes, dificilmente sabras hacia donde vas"
