Hi! We are Q-HERC, a team of Queen's University students representing Canada at NASA's 31st Human Powered Rover Challenge (HERC). We are the only Canadian university team attending in 2025!

We will design and build a 130lb rover that can carry two pilots over simulated lunar terrain. We estimate that we will need $8,080 to cover the costs of manufacturing and travel to Alabama for our six team members.

On top of the contest, our team is leading STEM educational events for the next generation of engineers. As we connect with about 400 students in the next three months, we will explain our work and build passion for students considering a future in STEM.
