Hello!
As many of you know, I am a super fan of Quaternity Chess (four players chess) and also a lover of coffee and tea ceremonies around a table.
For those who never heard of or played Quaternity, it is a fascinating game whose practice offers so many benefits that it would take too long to list them.

To start playing simply go to https://play.quaternity.com/ and follow the step-by-step tutorials. It's simple and fun!
As my main activity is the design and production of furniture and Quaternity Sets, I have designed and built an octagonal coffee table where to play Quaternity, traditional chess or any other board game, while enjoying coffee or tea with family or friends. The materials used are wrought iron, wood, glass and leather. (see technical drawings)
Four low upholstered stools complement the table; these can be placed under the table when not in use.
My aim with this publication is to reach out for generous contributions and be able to start producing the first 20 units to make this project a reality. Apart from private use, these tables will be a useful element for future Quaternity Clubs all over the world. This is already happening and I have a feeling that Quaternity will establish itself very strongly as a favourite game for many people around the world.
This is an inclusive game and an exquisite learning tool; young and old can play and learn while having fun, and as the saying goes... "Chess is war but Quaternity is Life".

Como muchos de ustedes saben, soy un súper fan del Quaternity Chess (ajedrez de cuatro jugadores) y también un amante de las ceremonias de café y té alrededor de una mesa.

Como mi actividad principal es el diseño y la producción de muebles y también de juegos premium de Quaternity, he diseñado y construído una mesa de centro octogonal en la que poder jugar al Quaternity, al ajedrez tradicional o a cualquier otro juego de mesa, mientras se disfruta de un café, té con la familia o amigos.
Los materiales usados son el hierro forjado, la madera, el vidrio y el cuero. (ver dibujos técnicos)
La mesa se complementa con cuatro taburetes bajos tapizados que pueden colocarse debajo de esta cuando no se utilicen.
Mi objetivo con esta publicación es conseguir contribuciones generosas y poder empezar a producir las primeras 20 unidades para hacer realidad este proyecto. Aparte del uso privado, estas mesas podrán ser un elemento útil para los futuros Clubes de Quaternity en todo el mundo. Esto ya está ocurriendo y tengo la sensación de que Quaternity se establecerá con mucha fuerza como el juego favorito de mucha gente en todo el mundo.
Quaternity es un juego inclusivo y una exquisita herramienta de aprendizaje; grandes y chicos pueden jugar y aprender mientras se divierten, y como suele decirse...
«El ajedrez es la guerra, pero Quaternity es la vida».
