Help Ravey & Jesse put out the fire!

Late Friday night, the dishwasher tried to burn our house down!

Jesse was asleep, Ravey was away house-sitting. The smoke alarms woke Jesse up and he was able to use the fire extinguisher, get out safely , and call the fire department...from a dead sleep. The animals and fish and people were safe, but the house filled with smoke from the electrical fire, and nasty dust from the extinguisher.

We had terrible luck with the first remediation company...they didn't do anything for several days! We're on our second company, and they seem up to the task - thank goodness - but that means help and cleanup have been extremely slow-going.

I've not been too forthcoming with the big life changes that 2021 has brought...I've also bought a house and gotten a divorce. I've got insurance, and covering this hefty deductible is going to be a hardship.

Thank you for reading - asking for help like this feels uncomfortable. I went back and forth on creating this GFM for days. I'd appreciate any good vibes and dollars you can spare. Anything you donate will help us to rebuild in this immediate aftermath.
