UPDATE on our IVY -BIG DAY and HUGE THANK YOU!

This Is Our Ivy❣️

Ivy’s is having her urethrocystoscopy and surgical ureter repair TODAY!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
RIGHT NOW!!!

Wednesday February 26th!!!
We are SO excited for her❤️

Our delightful puppy Ivy is in need of a procedure and surgery to repair her ectopic ureters, probable fistula and urinary incontinence. The surgery is very costly and we could really use your help. We were told that Ivy had spina bifida with no possible treatment and that she was nearly had euthanized when she was a a very young puppy. She was saved by someone who loved Ivy very much and cared for her until she developed health issues of her own and could no longer keep up with Ivy’s special needs. We expected to change Ivy’s little pee diapers for the rest of her life and keep her happy and healthy for as long as possible.
Ivy is 1 year old now. She is anbsolutely adorable and sweet! We love her so much and want to do everything we can for her.
I’ve added a little info below about the procedure and surgery that Ivy needs. Please Consider Contributing or Sharing to your Contacts. ANY amount is a huge help! ❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍
Thank you so very much to everyone that has already donated or shared. We are so very grateful !!!

  •  Ectopic ureters are A birth defect where the tubes that connect from the kidneys to the bladder are attached in the wrong place. This is causing a constant drip of urine and Ivy’s bladder is always empty. Unfortunately Ivy also has a concerning bacterial infection in her bladder. There is concern that this is caused by a fistula allowing intestinal bacteria to enter into her bladder. Ivy is taking strong antibiotics for the infection. Ivy needs to have a urethrocystoscopy which involves a long instrument with a camera at the end that will be used to view the inside of her urinary tract. At the same time the surgeon and internal medicine doctor will repair her ureters as well as look for any other abnormalities. Ivy’s constant leaking and uncontrolled urine drops make her very prone to recurring infection and complications including kidney disease and kidney failure.
