We are all delighted to say that we have qualified for the Great Britain teams for the EDBF Dragon Boating European Championships. The event is held in Munich in July 2026.

We have been training hard since joining the British National Training Squads in October, and we each secured our respective places in the GB Teams at competitive trials in February and March.

We made it!!!

The hard work now kicks into another gear, with squad training weekends and individual work in the gym (as well as our usual paddling at Preston Dragons).

! HERE'S THE BIG ASK !

The whole process is entirely unfunded. There is no central funding available, as the sport is not on an Olympic program, and we must each cover all the costs of training, travel, accommodation, and competing.

We would be grateful for any support that you can offer to support us on this exciting journey. Your support will go directly to the costs of competing, supporting all 4 of us to get to Munich and compete for medals!

We will, of course, happily keep you updated on our progress and training.... And... hopefully our successful racing in Munich!
