100 yr. old Prescott, WI, American Legion Post needs your help.
Our mission supports our veterans and our community.
Over the past 100 years we, sponsored or funded:
Easter egg hunts, Local food shelf, Fire department, Visited High School classrooms, $500 HS scholarships, Legion baseball, Girls’ softball, Memorial Day services, Honor Guard a Funerals, Presented Colors at parades, flags in our Local Cemeteries: Assisting Veterans financially and comradeship, 40/8, Bingo for food shelf at every chicken fry.
All this was made possible by the Legion Chicken fries, but due to COVID, no fries were possible over the last year.
Our Post is financially drained, and our building is deteriorating and in need of major repairs. Without your help the Post building will be sold, and the Post itself will be in jeopardy. Repairs estimated at $40,000, new furnace, wall repair, bathrooms, floors, etc.
Prescott Legion is Post #61; out of 2930 posts created in WI. Many legions around the country are closing. Help us save this 100-year-old Post.
