Please Help - Emergency Care for Pippin

Pippin is my best friend. The last 11 years with him by my side have been nothing short of incredible. We’ve been through everything together. He’s had my back through every laugh and every tear. Every state. Every heartbreak. I’m not sure I’d be the person I am today without the love he’s given me and shown me I was capable of giving. That being said, anytime he’s not feeling well it feels like the world is falling apart.

Last weekend, what started as a stomach ache wound up with Pip being admitted into the Emergency Room. 4 days, multiple blood tests, xrays, an ultrasound, an overnight stay in the ER and almost $4000.00 later he was sent home with no sure diagnosis and a treatment plan of wait and see if he pulls through paired with some pain meds.

I’m terrified of losing my best friend and as positive as I try to stay the looming uncertainty can be unbearable at times.

I’ve maxed out my credit card to pay for Pippins current bills and if something else comes up I don’t know how I’m going to be able to afford it. I’m embarrassed to reach out and ask my friends and perfect strangers for help but I’m not sure what else to do.

If you can please contribute Pippin, Merry (his brother) and I would be eternally grateful. We just want another 11 years with him. Not even that would be long enough but I’ll take what I can get.
