HELP Jonathan - Survivor Fights for His Life.
This is our brother Jonathan. He is a great son, a great friend, an amazing brother, a caring and loving uncle but above all else he is an amazing human being and we love him dearly.
Unfortunately on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at around 1:00 p.m., our beloved brother Jonathan suffered a viscous attack that almost cost him his life. As he was getting home, he was attacked in broad daylight. After the attack he was shot 6 times and stabbed multiple times to the chest and arms. Our brother then got in his car and drove away. He was then found in his vehicle which crashed down the road from where the incident occurred.
Thankfully, Jonathan was rushed to the hospital just in time to receive emergency response from the true heroes of this story which work round the clock to keep our loved ones alive; the doctors, the nurses and all the medical staff who go above and beyond the call of duty to save lives! We thank you and we love you with all our hearts!
He was rushed to the emergency room where they operated him immediately and were able to determine the amount of damage done. Our brother Jonathan suffered gunshot wounds to his lung, liver, kidney, stomach, arms and legs. He was also stabbed in the chest and arms. Thankfully the doctors were able to stop the bleeding. They were able to drain all the blood from his lungs and with the surgery performed, the doctors saved his major organs which, saved his life!
Since Thursday evening, Jonathan has been in the intensive care unit. He’s been slowly recovering after being in critical condition.He is now, in stable condition. Thanks to the incredible work done by doctors who put their lives on the line everyday!
Our intention with this message is to raise awareness of the gun violence in our city and to gain as much support as possible. We ask that you share his story. We wish that with his story we can help create a safer living environment for generations to come.
