Hola, un gusto saludarlos.

Mi nombre es Cindy Omaña, Venezolana, actualmente resido en los EEUU, me vÍ obligada a emigrar de mi país; por la situación política, económica y sanitaria en la cual está sumergido. Me desplace hacia otras fronteras, buscando nuevas oportunidades y como principal objetivo, mejorar la calidad de vida de mi familia.

Actualmente, mi papá JAIRO OMAÑA de 62 años, quien se encuentra en Venezuela, necesita una OPERACIÓN DE EMERGENCIA para extraer un tumor de células malignas de su cuerpo, luego de muchas evaluación y visitas a diferentes especialistas.

DIAGNÓSTICO: "ADC DE PAPILA DE VATER uT2N0M0" (Tumor cancerígeno), tratable, operable "De manera inmediata".

UBICACIÓN: La papila de Vater se encuentra específicamente en el duodeno, la primera sección del intestino delgado, en la pared posterior de la segunda porción del duodeno. Es la parte donde se unen el conducto biliar y el conducto pancreático para desembocar juntos en el intestino. Dicho tumor se encuentra en una zona delicada que compromete varios órganos, por ello, debemos operarlo lo más pronto posible para evitar que la masa siga creciendo y complique su condición de salud.

ACCIONES A SEGUIR: PANCREATODUODENECTOMÍA CEFÁLICA (OPERACIÓN DE WHIPPLE - KAUSCH). Consideraciones: el médico fue muy optimista al indicarnos, que con la operación que se plantea realizar, se puede extraer el tumor por completo y erradicar el cáncer de su organismo, eso sí, debemos actuar lo más rápido posible.

Por ello, nos vemos en la necesidad de hacer esta campaña de recaudación, ya que no contamos con los medios financieros para costear esta operación. Y de algo si estoy segura, que con su colaboración podremos llegar a nuestro OBJETIVO de $36.650.

Y ustedes se preguntarán, ¿Por qué acudir a esto? Por que, para nadie es un secreto, que el sistema de salud público en Venezuela es deficiente, por ende, nos vemos en la obligación de acudir al sistema de salud privado de alto costo, para salvaguardar la salud y el bienestar de mi padre, quién es un hombre ejemplar y trabajador, (Él se ha desempeñado en el oficio de la mecánica automotriz toda su vida... Les comento una pequeña anécdota, varios de sus clientes lo apodan, "El Brujo" en temas mecánicos, obviamente! Y ustedes dirán, ¿Por qué? Sencillo, porque solo al escuchar el ruido que tiene el carro, sabe que es lo que le está pasando). El siempre está dispuesto a colaborar con las personas y la comunidad en actividades relacionadas con su área (quien lo conoce, lo puede certificar). No está demás comentar, que es un padre ejemplar, quién junto a mi madre Mayuri Machado, han podido criar a un par de muchachos ya al día de hoy, profesionales y de buen comportamiento, como lo somos mi hermano Anthony Omaña Machado y mi persona.

Los cuatro acudimos a ustedes, para tocar sus corazones y solicitar su apoyo para que nos ayuden a eliminar toda célula dañina del cuerpo de mi papa.

El estar lejos, ha sido bien difícil para mí, porque me ha tocado pasar todo este proceso lejos de ellos. Sin embargo, el estar aquí, me ha permitido apoyarlos económicamente, con; exámenes, consultas, medicamentos, dieta alimenticia estricta y otros procedimientos médicos menos invasivos y un poco menos costosos que han sido de vital importancia y que también necesitaba de urgencia para este momento (porque estaba presentando "ictericia obstructiva y dilatación de las vías biliares a causa del tumor que fue descubiertos en exámenes posteriores", en otras palabras, el tumor le estaba tapando el conducto por donde se desplaza el flujo biliar en el organismo, situación bastante delicada, porque puede llevar a un colapso general del organismo).. Estuvo presentando síntomas, como; color amarillento en piel y ojos, dolor de estómago, heces de color claro y picazón generalizada. Por ello se le realizó una colangiopancreatografía retrógrada endoscópica o CPRE, procedimiento médico que combina endoscopia y radiografías, donde se efectúo una esfinterotomía y drenaje biliar con colocación de un stent plástico en el conducto, atacando los síntomas mencionados, permitiendo el flujo correcto por el conducto y así evitar consecuencias más graves. Así mismo, le permitió al especialista dar con el diagnóstico exacto ADC DE PAPILA DE VATER uT2N0M0.

El objetivo principal es realizarle una operación abierta y extraer la masa tumoral, conocida en el argot médico, como: PANCREATODUODENECTOMÍA CEFÁLICA (OPERACIÓN DE WHIPPLE - KAUSCH): Es una cirugía extensa y compleja que se realiza para tratar tumores en la cabeza del páncreas y tumores malignos que afectan al conducto biliar o al duodeno junto al páncreas. Este procedimiento implica la extirpación de la cabeza del páncreas, el duodeno, la vesícula biliar y la vía biliar extrahepática. Por ser tan complejo, se necesita de un excelente grupo de profesionales, equipo médico de vanguardia e instalaciones adecuadas para el nivel de intervención, por ende nos vemos en la obligación de dirigir nuestros esfuerzos y optar por una cirugía en una clínica privada en Venezuela. Dicha cirugía es de alto costo y por ello estamos por aca, para solicitar su generosa colaboración a nuestra causa.

My name is Cindy Omaña, Venezuelan. I currently reside in the US. I was forced to emigrate from my country due to the political, economic, and health situation. I moved to other countries, seeking new opportunities and with the main objective of improving my family's quality of life.

Currently, my father, JAIRO OMAÑA, 62, who is in Venezuela, needs EMERGENCY SURGERY to remove a malignant tumor from his body, after numerous evaluations and visits to different specialists.

DIAGNOSTIC: "VATER PAPILLA ADC uT2N0M0" (Cancerous tumor), treatable, operable "Immediately."

LOCATION: The papilla of Vater is located specifically in the duodenum, the first section of the small intestine, on the posterior wall of the second portion of the duodenum. It is the part where the bile duct and the pancreatic duct join to empty into the intestine. This tumor is located in a delicate area that compromises several organs, so we must operate as soon as possible to prevent the mass from growing further and complicating his condition.

NEXT STEPS: HEAD PANCREATODUODENECTOMY (WHIPPLE-KAUSCH SURGERY). Considerations: The doctor was very optimistic when he told us that with the proposed surgery, the tumor can be completely removed and the cancer eradicated from his body. However, we must act as quickly as possible.

Therefore, we find it necessary to undertake this fundraising campaign, as we do not have the financial means to pay for this operation. And I am sure of one thing: with your support, we can reach our goal of $36,650.

And you may be wondering, why resort to this? Because, it's no secret that the public healthcare system in Venezuela is deficient, therefore, we are forced to turn to the high-cost private healthcare system to safeguard the health and well-being of my father, who is an exemplary and hard-working man. (He has worked as an auto mechanic all his life... Let me tell you a little anecdote: several of his clients nickname him "El Brujo" when it comes to mechanical matters, obviously! And you might ask, why? Simple, because just by hearing the noise his car makes, he knows what's wrong.) He is always willing to collaborate with people and the community on activities related to his field (whoever knows him can attest to that). It goes without saying that he is an exemplary father, who, together with my mother, Mayuri Machado, has been able to raise a couple of well-behaved, professional boys, just like my brother, Anthony Omaña Machado, and I.

The four of us are coming to you to touch your hearts and ask for your support in helping us eliminate every harmful cell from my father's body.

Being away has been very difficult for me because I've had to go through this entire process away from them. However, being here has allowed me to support them financially, with tests, consultations, medications, a strict diet, and other less invasive and somewhat less expensive medical procedures that have been vitally important and that he also urgently needed at this time (because he was presenting with "obstructive jaundice and dilation of the bile ducts due to the tumor that was discovered in subsequent tests." In other words, the tumor was blocking the duct through which bile flows in the body, a very delicate situation because it can lead to a general collapse of the body). He was experiencing symptoms such as yellowing of the skin and eyes, stomach pain, light-colored stools, and generalized itching. The main objective was to perform an open operation and remove the tumor mass, known in medical jargon as: Cephalic Pancreatoduodenectomy (Whipple-Kausch Operation): This is an extensive and complex surgery performed to treat tumors in the head of the pancreas and malignant tumors affecting the bile duct or duodenum next to the pancreas. This procedure involves the removal of the head of the pancreas, the duodenum, the gallbladder, and the extrahepatic bile duct. Because it is so complex, it requires an excellent group of professionals, cutting-edge medical equipment and facilities appropriate for the level of intervention, therefore we are obliged to direct our efforts and opt for surgery in a private clinic in in Venezuela. This surgery is expensive, and that's why we're here to request your generous support for our cause.
