Our sweet rescue kitten Poppy suddenly became very sick and had to be rushed to the vet.
Testing confirmed she has a blood parasite, and the vet is also highly concerned about FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).
Unfortunately, there is no single test that can definitively confirm FIP, so veterinarians often begin treatment when it is strongly suspected to give cats the best chance of survival. Because of this, Poppy has already started treatment while she is being closely monitored.
FIP treatment is long and expensive, often requiring 84 days of medication along with regular vet visits and bloodwork.
We are raising funds to help cover:
• FIP treatment medication
• Blood parasite treatment
• Vet visits and monitoring
• Diagnostic testing and bloodwork
Poppy is such a sweet little girl and deserves the chance to grow up healthy and loved.
If you are able to help, even a small donation makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing her story means just as much.
Thank you for supporting Poppy and giving her a chance.
