Pope Trip 2.0
Donation protected
Ivy and I are Boston residents who are embarking on a pilgrimage with the Shalom Boston community to celebrate World Youth Day (WYD) at the end of July in Krakow, Poland. Shalom (meaning "peace") is a Brazil-based Catholic organization, now present in more than 15 different countries, whose mission is to evangelize youth and build a strong faith within communities in daily life. The theme for this year's WYD is "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy"(Mt. 5:7) and will be a week-long international gathering of young people from across the globe.
Our goal is to raise $3,300 to help fund our costs of taking this pilgrimage with Shalom. While we will be spending very little money during the trip, our major expenses are only the flight and some food during the week. In return, Ivy and I will take any special prayer requests from donors who know someone that needs prayers; whether it is for yourself, a young person who has fallen away from the faith, close family/friends, government leaders, or even a difficult neighbor - no one is excluded from extra prayers! We will bring your prayer requests with us when we visit holy sites in Krakow, and will keep track of the time and days that we fulfill your prayer requests to record any joys, signs, or immediate results following our prayers. We want you to feel present with us throughout this faith journey!
It would mean the world to Ivy and I to receive even just a little bit of help from you. We're very excited for the pilgrimage (in just 2 short months!) and can't wait to see what the Lord has to offer all of us during this very special week.
Thank you and God bless!!
