Mom of 4 in College-Police Officer

HELP A MOTHER FINISH EDUCATION 

I am a 33 year old mother to four beautiful and intelligent little girls, ages 7,9,11 and 14. They are my life. I live and breath for them. I raise them on my own and do not receive child support. I was a stay at home mother most of the last 14 years.. I didnt want to miss anything. I licked the first tears that ever rolled off their cheeks, I was there to encourage them to walk while they gripped on to my baby finger, and was there to see each of them finally have the courage to take those few steps towards my open arms all by them self. I remember the day I took my youngest daughter to her first day of school and had to force myself to leave her behind. I cried the entire way home, but I kept my promise. Being that I was not raised by my biological mother I promised myself I would be there for my daughters.. physically-there-every-day until school age...and I was.

So it was time for me to figure out what I was going to do with my life for our future. I have dreamed of becoming a Police Officer since I was a teenager and I realized it was time to make that dream come true!I swallowed my fear of the unknown and applied to 5 colleges and was accepted to all of them.. but the last acceptance I received was the one I had been waiting for.. a college I have wanted to go to since I was 17. I hit the floor in tears after Confirming the offer. 

I am a Full Time mother and Full Time student close to finishing my first year of a two year Police Foundations program. My GPA is almost a 4 and I am basically rockin the course. I sign up for the co-curricular courses offered at the college, help other classmates study for exams, do any and all additional weekend courses offered to my program, and have excellent, encouraging Professors that have alot of faith in me - but - financial hardships have arose within the last few weeks to the point where I am only going to school sometimes 2 days a week because I cannot afford to be spending all my money on gas to get to school 1.5 hours away in my gas guzzling 2001 dented and rusted Caravan. I have living expences and responsibilities for a family of 5.. and the bills are piling up and I am the only  provider. 

I have certifications I need to get such as CPR and First Aid, ATS and more.. I would like to get a PI and Security Licence so that at the end of this semester and through summer, I can build my resume by applying  myself and work within the Law Enforcement field, but I need to be licenced and certified first, and that costs money.

I think of myself as an outgoing, honest, helpful person, determined to excel and do well for myself and my girls to give them a secure, happy upbringing and future.
Pursuing a career in Law Enforcement is one of the best decisions I ever made and it is an extension of who I am as a person. I know this is what I am supposed to do with my life and I will not give up. Dropping out of college due to lack of funds is NOT an option! 

My daughters do not know of my financial hardships and shouldnt know, since these are "big people problems" that they should not have to think or worry about. 

We all need help sometimes, and I am not to proud to ask for help when I need it.  I do need help. I need YOUR help. Thank You Much!
