2019 Polar Plunge to Fight Cancer

Dearest friends and supporters,

For the 4th year in a row, we are gathering in Long Beach, NY for the Polar Plunge on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019. We set aside our fears of the icy water and numbingly cold temperatures to fundraise for the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation in support of cancer research. In December 2018, the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation delivered it's largest cancer research grant ever; $15,000 toward sarcoma research studies at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This was made possible by our first 3 Polar Plunges raising over $10,000, coupled with additional fundraising efforts.

Donations go directly to the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and are tax deductible. Created in memory of Ken Jr., a Rockville Centre, NY native who lost his battle to AngioSarcoma cancer at the young age of 19, the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation has granted over $25,000 to reputable cancer research institutions and awarded 18 college scholarships to graduating high school students.
