Just returning from England in a few days after visiting with one of our families dearest friends and sister.
Kelly has been suffering over the past year with horrible pain through out her body. She had been begging for a CT scan and to no avail, has over the past 8 months been sent home each time with pain medication and brushed off with a diagnosis of Arthritis.
During this period of time where she was seeking proper medical care, Kelly was in a very minor car incident which in any other case she would have walked away injury free - but after such a long period of being misdiagnosed, the minor collision had a much more severe effect on her and caused her to break her arm.
After being taken to the emergency room she was given closer medical attention which allowed a new diagnosis to emerge:
Metastatic Breast Cancer with bony Metastases and with right axillary Lymphadenopathy.
Upon running much more stringent tests than her previous visits to the hospital, the doctors found the need to reinforce Kelly's arms, legs and spine as the cancer had aggressively metastasized over the 8 month period she was seeking medical attention.
Here lies our biggest obstacle - She is now waiting to come home to the U.S to try and seek the proper medical care which is required for her unique situation.
Many obstacles are ahead for Kelly and here is where we can use your help. the lengthy process of reapplying for medical insurance here in the U.S. will be her first step, but time is of the essence and she will need to seek treatment immediately.
Kelly is and has always been a generous, selfless person who would give anything to help. Most importantly, she is a loving mother of four beautiful boys. As she has cared for and helped so many in the past, let's try and help alleviate some of the financial burden of the medical expenses to come.
All we ask, is anything you can donate will help Kelly acquire the proper medical treatment upon returning to the U.S. - She has gone the past 2 weeks with no treatment, and we want to help get her back safely to begin treatment as soon as possible.
