I am a legal immigrant who recently lost her job due to three days of illegal, incommunicado detention. This experience was deeply frightening and has left me in a very difficult emotional & financial position. For my safety and privacy, I am choosing to remain anonymous but I am facing an urgent financial challenge, as rent is due soon and my property-management is not particularly sympathetic. I am actively seeking new employment and taking every step I can to restore stability. I just need help covering my rent for next month so I can remain housed during this difficult time.
