On Thursday morning, May 28th, we noticed that Curry wasn’t in front of the door as usual, and we couldn’t find him. After searching, we found him hiding in a spot, and it seemed he had been there for over 12 hours. Curry had lost movement in his back legs, was shaking, and very thirsty. It was terrifying to see our dog paralyzed and not know what to do, especially since he had been fine the day before.

We rushed Curry to the emergency room and braced ourselves for a diagnosis. The veterinarian confirmed he has paralysis due to spleen issues. To help him walk again, Curry needs a CT scan ($3,000) to identify the best path forward for surgery ($10,000). The initial emergency room visit cost over $900, and Curry is now on three different medications. He will return to the vet in two weeks for further evaluation and care.

Donations will help cover the cost of the CT scan, surgery, medications, and recovery care. We are asking for your kindness and generosity to please help Curry. He is only 4 years old and has a lot more life to live. He is a fun, loving, smart dog and he is part of our family. We are hoping for miracles that we will see him run again.
