Anyone who knows Aida, knows she has a heart of gold that is three times oversized!
Always helping others
Being very generous, Aida always offers a hand, dinner, a cup of coffee, will entertain you and even give you the the shoes off her feet! Together, with Bruce and her kids, from their home in the Philippines, they helped countless under-priveledged local children, paying for schooling & education, clothing them, housing some and always filling their bellies with good food. Just short of 2 years ago, Aida was devastated as she lost her beloved Bruce to complications relating to his battle with Parkinson's disease.
Aida and Bruce were a "Love at first sight", soul-mated couple that lived within each other's shadows for 23 years. Wherever one went, the other was right behind, with kids in tow.
The Fire
Recently Aida experienced a damaging house fire. A memory candle, burning for Bruce, tipped over and started a fire in the bedroom! Although it was contained, there was extensive smoke damage, property loss including her computer, a lifelong collection of photos and as well much of Aida's clothing.
Although Aida and her kids live to give - not to take, she is thankful that her friends are banding together to help her and appreciates whatever everyone can share.

We are hoping that friend's of Aida as well as the Filipino community will band together to help ease Aida's loss and pain and help her to quickly recover & rebuild.
Aida & Bruce built this wonderful home in the Philippines, however as GoFundMe doesn't yet support the Philippines directly, we are doing this through our own address.
