Hi, my name is Mike i am 17 and I'm starting this for my Mother, Rhonda Viola. She had a nasty fall down the back porch stairs and was hurt pretty bad. She has a broken knee cap, a lot of ligament and ankle injuries on the opposite foot like multi tier ligament injury and sprains, a shoulder injury, hurt back, wrist sprain and all kinds of other injuries on top of her medical condition. She was in the hospital but they sent her to a rehab to get taken care of right so she can get better faster. One of her legs is in a knee immobilizer and the other one is in an air cast. Because she can't walk she will be using a walker but she won't get to go home yet. We started working on the bathroom and need to finish it. Also she can't use the stairs for a while, like maybe 8 weeks or more so can't go up to her bedroom so we need to get her reclining furniture to stay on the first floor. Everyone that knows my Mom probably knows that she had Guillain Barre Syndrome and never healed. She was totally paralyzed on a ventilator and in a coma for many months. She had collapsed lungs that needed surgery about 11 times, has permanent nerve damage and has to deal with so much. Me and my sisters were always her first concern. She got custody of my cousin 15 years ago and raised her as my sister. She did everything for us and now we want to do this For her. She is hoping to get home but we need help. We have been paying everything to take care of ourselves and the house while she is gone so we are out of money. Please if you can help with $10 or even $5 that would help so much. She helps everyone but herself and this would help her for a change!
We believe she will heal much quicker in her own home so this is the last idea we have.
