Please save Beavs, a magnificent service dog

Message from Shannon:

“This evening (Saturday, 6/17/23), my baby Beaver-Boy crossed the rainbow bridge in my arms… He was the best “good boy” there ever was. I am heartbroken & sad & lost & devastated & physically sick… my only solace is knowing that he is in good hands with Dr. C, who also transitioned less than a week ago. They are perfect for each other.

I have no words… I will miss my little soulmate-dood, my sweet & smart service dog, forever. He would have been just 9 months tomorrow (Sunday, 6/18/23). Beaver Bexar and I didn’t have near enough adventures together.

Thank you for all the love & prayers & positive vibes & good juju & & &… thank you for the donations on the GoFundMe. All donations will go towards his unpaid vet bills (~$10k) & cremation expenses. Any remaining funds will go towards my next Service Dog and their training (which I cannot even fathom yet).”

I , Cynthia Curnan, am starting the GoFundMe for a Shannon and her service dog, Beavs. Both are dear to me. Beavs - an 8 1/2 months old, 25 pound small Golden Doodle - was terribly injured in an act of violence.
Beav’s offense was merely being there. His small size and sweet nature made him an easy target. Since then he’s had many violent seizures, up to 5 minutes each, leaving him blind and in critical condition. The vet bill is already $12,000, but his mom, Shannon, is not asking for reimbursements.
The GoFundMe donations will go toward Beav’s treatment to come. Shannon is driving Beavs -for emergency treatment - to a neurology hospital, 3 hours away. Shannon saved for service dog for 15 years. Beavs cost $10.,000 including his Service Dog training.
Beavs was trained for all of Shannon’s conditions: Service dog for CPTSD, neurodivergence (“AuDHD”), medical response/alert for multiple other diagnoses including diabetes, acute recurrent pancreatitis.

Beavs transformed Shannon’s quality of life. Despite her hideous childhood trauma’s, Shannon spent 10 years in immersive therapy with Dr Candida Condor, who passed away on June 11.
Now Shannon has no therapist and an incapacitated service dog who really is her baby.
“Dr C‘s” treatment empowered Shannon to become a licensed Mental Health counselor- with a full private practice. And she is currently a full time PhD student. Beavs has transformed Shannon’a life and mobility.
They go everywhere together and are never apart.

PLEASE donate to save Beavs’ life. Your donation will save them both.

This sweet little baby dog deserves to LIVE!
