For the past 6 months, my family and I have been living without water in our home. Our well broke down, and after trying everything, we learned that the only solution is to build a new one—which costs far more than we could ever afford. On top of this, we’re struggling to keep up with our mortgage and bills, all while caring for our three daughters, who are all under ten years old. Every day is a challenge. We shower at relatives’ homes when we can, and fill plastic tanks to bring water back for basic needs. We use buckets to flush the toilet, wash dishes, and even bathe. It’s exhausting and humbling, and I never imagined we’d be in this position.
Having water again would mean everything to us. My daughters could shower and brush their teeth every day, and I could finally wash clothes and clean our home like before. It would bring a sense of normalcy and dignity back to our lives.
I know that everyone faces their own struggles, and if you’re not able to help financially, simply sharing our story would mean so much. If you are able to support us, please know that any amount helps and we are grateful with all our hearts. God bless you for reading and caring. If we had the means, I wouldn’t be asking for this, but right now, we truly need help.
